Chapter 19 Healing- when parts have been removed by surgery or other physical traumas
This chapter is a compilation of questions from previous sessions with the River, who is a fellowship of beings who gather to channel information which is necessary and beneficial in these times. They describe their fellowship as composed of beings from the three worlds of the earth-inanimate, plant and animal, beings who have lived on earth but have passed on and beings who have never lived on earth, but have a loving relationship with our planet. I have done as little editing as possible with these teachings, to preserve the tone and cadence of their voice.
I hope this
is helpful for all my readers. Let me know if you have any further questions or
comments.
Julia: I have a question about people or animals who lose
parts of their bodies through surgery or traumas.
River: Any organ in the body can be lost through surgery,
misuse or by receiving the minds intent which denies the organ from being fully
functioning. Although the organ is removed, the body treats it as if it is
still there. It should be clearly understood than in a fully functioning human
being, there can be dys-functioning parts that are just as removed as if they
had been removed physically.
However, in the case of a woman having her ovaries
removed, they are still there energetically. The mind body in an individual
whose mind is healthily functioning, will still identify the body as if the
organ were still there. Therefore, we would suggest that if a woman does not
have ovaries, she carry on with the life meditation as if the ovaries are
there. For all cells of the body carry the imprint of the ovaries being there,
and the body will adjust to act and react as if they are there, if the mind allows
them to be there.
It is of course something which today's scientists would
not understand, their understanding is limited and therefor they can understand
these concepts. However, scientists can be made to know.
In the opposite way, it is a good practice to scan the
body to see where there are parts which have been removed from the total body's
awareness. It is as if standing in front yourself and view the body as a whole
and the body can be examined with a spiritual eye, but from inside and outside.
Speak to the body as an intelligent conscious being. You can say “Body, what
part is not fully functioning?” The body may say, “Liver”. Go with the first
word that comes up.
It is there then that for whatever reason, the body’s
awareness had been cut off, blockaded from the full aliveness of spirit and
mind. It is here that misuse and disease can begin. Then it is an easy thing to
replace illness with aliveness.
Julia: For me, it is my neck that comes to mind first.
River: It is there then that you are not fully awakened.
We suggest, speak to the neck, “Wake up, be conscious, join the crowd!”. For
like a small child, it is pouting. “We don't like carrying this burden, and
we're really going to be difficult about this.”
I found this section very evocative because I have had neck
pain most of my adult life, beginning with intensely painful migraines that
started in my neck and head and then laid me flat for 2-3 days. I don’t have
migraines any longer due to psychedelic assisted therapy. But I still get flare
ups in my neck and shoulders as a consequence of a motor vehicle strike. I
hesitate to use the term ‘accident’, since there is really no such thing. These
flare ups occur with certain kinds of exercises or lack of movement, such as
too long on screen.
I vowed to start talking to my neck and asking this
questions to my neck and see if I can reduce the flare ups even more.
River: Seriously, we would suggest seeing the flow from
the neck down as being easy. Seeing the flow going through, and speak to the
body to be awake, alive, awake, alive. Bring that vital aliveness to your neck,
generating heat. That is perhaps the best way to increase vitality to an area,
is to see that area increasing in vibration, causing heat. See the cells
increasing in vibration on a molecular level. Speed that area up, because at
this time that part of the body is not getting its full supply of energy, it is
causing stress to the whole. It needs to be speeded up, on the cellular working
working of rest of the body.
It is as if the imbalance has gone the other way and a
corrective measure must be increased. So see the area having increased cellular
vibration, see it vibrating, life an heat an aliveness explanation park so much
that everything flows through, and keep it up, keep the heat and vibration up.
Keep it in one area, find the edges of where it is that needs the energy and
life, as speak to that part of the body beforehand. Tell it what you are going
to do while you are going to do it, requesting any kind of feedback, advice,
help, treat it as a conscious part of yourself.
In the same way the earth as a whole has a sentience in
all parts, so to your body is the microcosm, each part has a conscious
awareness to the whole. Please try this.
Julia: It feels better already.
River: Yes we can sense the heat in your neck at this
moment, the channels neck is hot too!
Julia: Is that why I find a relief from pain when I put
on tiger bomb? ( a external perceived heating cream)
River: Yes that is why heat is been used- always. It is
not the heat that is doing the helping so much, as increasing the vibrations
within the cells. It is enlivening that area! With an area that is cutoff from
the whole, an increase in vibration is needed. This technique can be used on
all parts of the body. How does your neck feel now?
Julia: It feels better.
Julia: I've been doing the life meditations, and as I've
said before, I found that every part of the body is associated with the
function of the mind. For me, the neck is a place of decision making, and I
have a lot of difficulty making decisions- hence the pain. You've heard the old
adage, “a pain in the neck”?
During the life meditation, I noticed the role of the
neck in turning the head and therefore changing perspective. The shoulders have
the role of carrying responsibility, a burden I have felt all my life. This exaggerated
sense has been a gift towards motivating me to serve as a spiritual therapist,
and a burden when I attempt to change people and the world which I have no
control of, and events which have their own soul purpose which I can’t see.
