  After the last session, I wondered -how can I ‘program’ a crystal? I searched through other River transcripts and found instructions which I will share here. First, find a crystal that has been harvested honorably. This may seem like a mysterious quality, however if you use your intuition and ask questions of whomever or wherever you are buying the crystal, you may be able to ascertain how the stone was harvested. If the stone was yanked from their bed in a hasty manner with profit as the primary motive, you can intuit if the stone absorbed those toxic vibrations or not. Perhaps it is still possible to work with dishonorably harvested crystal, but you will have to do extra clearing and programing with it. Notice the shop or venue where you buy the crystal. Do they seem like people who understand interconnectiveness? Did they program the crystal before you came to it with greed and sickness or do they love the mineral world? Yesterday I walked along one of my favorite hikes, beside a tributary of a larger river. This river has been home to people for thousands of years. First Nations people lived at different parts of this river as it flowed from the mountains, down through vast silent forests and finally out to the bay. Those who lived along this river harvested reeds, trees, salmon, shellfish and a multitude of different kinds of berries for at least four thousand years. They also hunted animals who came to the river for fresh water: mink, otters, deer, wolves, and birds. Bears also lived in this area, but the people who lived here then, did not hunt them because they believed these creatures were too alike to humans to be killed and eaten.                 After first contact with Europeans, this river was dredged to make it easier for ships to come into the bay to take away logs from the surrounding forests. All matter has sentience My spiritual teacher started the session one day with these words. I was sceptical and confused. We were sitting on the carpet on a hard wood floor and I replied capriciously “You mean to say that the floor we are sitting on has consciousness?” “Of course!” She replied and smiled at me indulgently. “Not like your consciousness, much slower.
